Our Mindful Hearts Training Program is in for a big year, thanks to The Stollery Charitable Foundation!

Jeff Bryson, Executive Director of The Stollery Charitable Foundation, paid us a special visit today to deliver a cheque for a $75,000 grant to fund a full-time position for our Mindful Hearts Training Program.

Thanks to this funding, the Winnifred Stewart Association will be able to expand the training program and implement better evaluation tools by partnering with post-secondary institutions.

WSA will be able to move forward with the Mindful Hearts approach, as a resource for all caregivers, family members, and loved ones of people with developmental disabilities also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
