Hello Golfers,

We are so excited to see everyone at the Joey Moss Memorial Golf Classic presented by Co-operators on August 26, 2026, at Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club!

A few important reminders:

• Registration opens at 7:00 a.m.
• Shotgun start is at 8:00 a.m. sharp.
• We encourage everyone to arrive early and enjoy a breakfast sandwich and coffee before teeing off.

We are thrilled to have our sold-out 50/50 raffle back again this year! Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 7:00 a.m. and will be sold until they are sold out. Mulligans will also be available for purchase.

Throughout the day, enjoy our Putting for Wine Challenge and many other on-course activities, along with food, drinks, and snacks.

After your round, please join us for dinner and our silent auction. Last year, together we raised over $60,000 for the Joey Moss Memorial Fund, and we are hoping to surpass that incredible achievement this year. We have some amazing silent auction items lined up that you won’t want to miss.

If you have not yet submitted your golfer names, please send them to us as soon as possible.

SOLD OUT! The Joey Moss Memorial Golf Classic presented by Co-Operators has officially sold out—and we’re blown away by your continuous support.

Thanks to this incredible community, registration for our August 26 tournament at Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club is now closed. We’re looking forward to a day of golf and celebration in honor of Joey Moss.

The Cause

The Joey Moss Memorial Fund (JMMF) was created after Joey’s passing in October 2020, in response to Joey’s family’s request for donations in lieu of flowers, to be provided to Winnifred Stewart. In collaboration with the Moss Family, it was established that funds raised by Joey Moss Memorial Fund would be used to continue

Joey’s legacy of advocating for employment and other meaningful opportunities for people with diverse abilities.

Joey was a strong ambassador within the disability sector who touched the lives of many. It is important to Winnifred Stewart to ensure his legacy can help create change for people with diverse abilities throughout Alberta, not just those supported by WS. All proceeds of Winnifred Stewart’s Joey Moss Memorial Fund will go towards continuing Joey’s legacy of advocating for employment and other meaningful opportunities for people with diverse abilities.
