Emily Ruttan

Emily Ruttan is the Chief Executive Officer of Winnifred Stewart. She brings diverse leadership experience from roles at the Government of Alberta, the University of Alberta, the City of Edmonton, and Homeward Trust. Emily began her career as a teacher in remote Northern Alberta communities, which shaped her belief in the power of community to address complex challenges and inspire hope. Her leadership at Winnifred Stewart focuses on harnessing community collaboration to make a positive impact.

Eddie Gots, CPA, CA

Eddie is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Winnifred Stewart, where he oversees the organization's financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic financial planning to support its mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with diverse abilities. ​

Eddie's professional background includes experience in financial management and accounting, with education from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).

As CFO, Eddie's leadership contributes to the organization's ongoing success and sustainability.

Carrie Creaser, CFRE

Carrie is the Director of Fund Development & Communications at Winnifred Stewart. Carrie holds the CFRE designation, reflecting her expertise and commitment in the field of fundraising. She is dedicated to fostering community relationships and enhancing public awareness of Winnifred Stewart's programs and services.

Jennalee Ritter

Jennalee Ritter is the Manager of Voice, Choice & Place at Winnifred Stewart. In her role, she supports individuals with diverse abilities in expressing themselves, making informed decisions, and participating fully in the life they choose.

She also facilitates Mindful Hearts, a Winnifred Stewart Approach—a program created to address a gap in care for individuals with diverse abilities who have developed Alzheimer’s or other dementias. Jennalee’s work reflects a strong commitment to person-centered support, emotional wellness, and inclusive community.
