WSA Annual General Meeting- May 30th

Don't forget about our upcoming AGM taking place on Monday, May 30th!

The Meeting will provide updates on some of the amazing projects we are pursuing, as well as taking some time to recognize some very important friends of the WSA community!

Hey! We were on Global!

Thank you to Su-Ling Goh and her amazing team at Global Edmonton for covering our Mindful Hearts project in their May 19th Health Matters segment! This project is so important to WSA and we are so proud to continue leading the way in care for our aging population!

Winnifred Stewart Association will be collecting items to be donated to the evacuees of the Fort McMurray and area fire. Items required:

  • Toiletries
  • Clean socks
  • Clean undergarments (including bras)
  • Diapers
  • Baby formula
  • Non-perishable food items
  • New toys (all ages)
  • Pet food

We will also be collecting monetary donations. All donations will be given to the Red Cross, as the Government will be matching them dollar for dollar. Collecting monetary donations are:

  • Main Building – Jammie and Candace
  • Res Services – Jennalee
  • Wellington - Janice

If you wish to donate to the Red Cross yourself, you may do so by texting REDCROSS to 30333 – each text is a $5.00 donation.

Drop off locations:

  • Main Building – Jammie’s office and Candace’s office (Third Floor)
  • Res Services – Res Supervisors’ offices
  • Wellington Site – Janice’s office

Items will be collected until Friday May 13th 12pm. Items will be loaded and delivered on Friday afternoon to the drop off centers in Edmonton.

3rd Annual Inspiring Dreams Gala Photos

Our 3rd Annual Inspiring Dreams Gala, sponsored by Krawford Construction was held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel. With over 250 guests in attendance, the event raised funds for the Mindful Hearts building project.
