Winnifred Stewart Membership

Winnifred Stewart offers both, Voting and Associate memberships on an annual basis.

Voting Memberships

Members who wish to be eligible to vote at our Annual General Meetings (AGM) being held on August 10, noon-2 pm this year, must purchase a Voting membership at least one day before the AGM. Winnifred Stewart Association & Winnifred Stewart Foundation staff members and their family members are not eligible to purchase a voting membership.

During the AGM, members in good standing are eligible to vote on any motion brought forward to the membership including:

• nomination to the WSA Board of Directors;

• voting for incoming Board Directors;

• approving Audited Financial Statements;

• appointment of the auditor;

• approving revisions to bylaws and name changes

Associate Memberships

Members who wish to access Association facilities, including the Winnifred Stewart Community Kitchen, gymnasium and meeting rooms must purchase an annual Associate membership. Additional usage rates apply.

Those Associate members who wish to vote at the AGM must also purchase a Voting membership. Personal, small non-profit, large non-profit and corporate Associate memberships are available.
