Sue White, Chief Executive Officer
Sue came on board as CEO in June 2018. She has over a decade of leadership experience in the non-profit sector in Edmonton, most recently as Vice-President of Finance & Operation for Special Olympics Alberta. She is currently serving as Chair for the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations.

Emily Boomer, Director of Support Services
Emily has been working with WSA since January 2013. She began working as a Special Events Assistant while completing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Grant MacEwan University. Since then, Emily has worked in a few different roles around WSA, before becoming Director of Support Services in April 2016.

Jennifer Deck, Finance Manager
Jennifer joined the management team at Winnifred Stewart in October of 2017. She obtained her professional accounting designation in 2004. Over the last 20 years, Jennifer has worked as an accountant in multiple industries and has previously worked as an Accountant for 2 other non-profit organizations.

Mary K Macdonald, Manager of Day Services
Mary K completed her Developmental Services Worker Diploma in Brockville, Ontario in 1982. After graduation, she moved west to pursue a position with the government of Alberta, but soon came upon an opportunity with WSA. She began working at Res #2 as a full time Service Coordinator and has been part of the WSA family ever since.

Winnifred Stewart Foundation Staff

Candace Smallwood, Director of Development
Candace has been working with WSA since December 2002. She began as a weekend support staff while completing the Rehabilitation Practitioner program at McEwan University. After graduating, Candace continued to work in Residential Services as a Service Coordinator and then as a Supervisor until March of 2008 at which time she took on the position of Special Events & Development Manager. In October of 2016, Candace began in a newly created position for the WS Foundation as the Director of Development.

Vicky Andress, Empties to WINN & GreenGoods Manager
Vicky has worked with the Winnifred Stewart Association since 1981. After completing post-secondary schooling in Toronto and working at an institution in Whitby Ontario, Vicky moved to Edmonton. She began working at Cerwood Enterprises for the Winnifred Stewart Association and later moved on to work in Residential Services as a Program Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Supervisor, and Manager. In 2005, Vicky became Manager of Empties to WINN and GreenGoods.
