Day Services Services offers individuals the opportunity to participate in a variety of recreation and leisure activities in both facility-based and community settings. Services and goals for personal development are based on the client's unique skills, abilities and interests.

The goal of the program is to offer a service that will provide the opportunity for personal growth and development by enabling the program participants to increase their independence in daily living, recreation and leisure, communication and socialization skills. By offering options that enable individuals to maximize their decision-making abilities, they are more able to participate in an individualized program that will meet their specific needs.

As part of its facility-based program, Recreation and Leisure Support Services provides the opportunity for individuals to take part in academic, cooking, craft and leisure activities, which encourage each person to achieve their own measures of success.

In the community, participants access various recreation and leisure facilities across the city, as well as participate in community events. The program is very flexible, and provides multiple opportunities that enhance all aspects of each individual's quality of life.
