The Winnifred Stewart Association's Residential Services is delighted to partner with Daytona Homes Master Builder to bring a new residential option in early 2007.
This new building will incorporate an assisted-living home for eight individuals with developmental disabilities who are aging on the main floor, with four independent living apartments on the upper floor, and Residential Services offices in the lower level. Residents of the apartments will have the comfort of knowing they will be able to access supports from the assisted-living home staff on an emergent basis. Thank you to the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society for being part of the design planning process.
Fund raising for this project has been very successful. Our thanks to all the individuals, foundations and businesses who have contributed to this project. At an estimated construction cost of $1.3 million, your financial and in-kind support is greatly appreciated. Sponsorship and recognition opportunities are still available!
