The Winnifred Stewart Association is looking for individuals who are flexible, enthusiastic and who want to join our team to help us continue to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

A variety of employment, practicum, volunteer and work experience positions for individuals over age 18 are available.

Day Services (Recreation and Leisure & Employment)
Residential Services (Res)
Administrative/Managerial (Admin)
Recycle Enterprises - Fund Development (RE)
Community Pathways

  • Day Services Hours: M-F, 7.5 Hours/Day scheduled between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • Residential Services Hours: Variable, shifts could include evenings, weekends and overnights
  • Recycle Enterprises Hours: Evenings and/or Saturdays
    Community Pathways Hours: 37.5/Week - Days & times vary and may include evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Disability / Rehabilitation Studies Diploma preferred or related education in the human services field
  • Experience working with individuals who have a developmental disability
  • Well-developed writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word is required

Practicum, volunteer and work experience placements are strongly supported in all programs and are available in a number of professional areas:

  • Disability / Rehabilitation Studies, Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy, Nursing
  • Maintenance, Woodworking
  • Accounting, Recreation Therapy
  • Computers
  • Public Relations and Marketing
  • Volunteer/HR Management
  • Music Therapy, Art Therapy
